He plays much bigger than his listed 6-4 frame. Nansemond River guard, Andre Jones is truly a complete package. The senior is one of the main reasons the Warriors are one of the teams to contend with in the East Region.

Jones, who's headed to Winthrop, isn't the kind of player who has to have the ball.

"Alot of guys say, why don't you go for 30. I've got teammates like Nick Wright. I like to win. Scoring is not a big thing."

Something like that is magic to his head coach, Ed Young's ears.

"The kids has alot of good character", he says. "He's got a little humbleness."

It's safe to say the Warriors who got knocked out of the state quarterfinals last year will go as far as Jones will take them.
