Joe Hoffman is as good as you can get in the sport of ultimate frisbee.  He's also helped put the Woodside Wolverines on the map.  They're currently unbeaten and ranked #1 in the state. 

They also got a bid for next month's nationals from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. 

"Sometimes it can be real easy", he says.  "You're diving for the disc, making crazy catches.  It's lots of fun." 

Head Coach, Christian Lesnett, who started the program four years ago, thinks he's a natural. 

"He's just continuous energy.  He can beat his defender up and down the field anytime." 

That also includes college players.  The Wolverines are a travelling club team.  Hoffman and his teammates have beaten the likes of VMI, Washington & Lee as well as VCU. 

At the rates Hoffman and the Wolverines are going, they can only get better in this non-traditional sport.
