The playoffs are underway, and it’s time for the stars to step up. Shawne Alston did just that for the Phoebus Phantoms.

246 yards rushing and 3 touchdowns helped earn him our Athlete of the Week honors.

Alston had just 36 yards at halftime, but what a second half he enjoyed.  He had a 69 yard touchdown and threw in another 57 yarder to set up his final touchdown on the night. 

Phoebus has shown a much more balanced attack than usual this year, but in the first round of the playoffs they went back to the old reliable running game. 

After beating Warwick in the first round, the Phantoms get ready for the rematch with Hampton this Friday.
