The beach district is where you’ll find this week’s Player of the Week. We’re talking about running back Kevin Whaley of the Salem Sun Devils.  

He helped hand Ocean Lakes its first loss of the season. The senior rushed for three touchdowns to go with his 134 yards on the ground as the Sun Devils roughed up the Dolphins 49 to 9. They also improved to 6 and 0.

Whaley has also helped guide Salem to 20 straight Beach District wins. 

The Sun Devils have a bye week before going on the road for another stiff test in the district against the Kellam Knights next Friday.
