Pflugerville said thanks to its football team Thursday.

The Central Texas high school was the state runner-up in football for the 2007 season.

They went 12-4 for the season -- a change from last year when the Panthers lost seven games and missed the playoffs.

The players turned it around this fall, and made the state finals for 5A, Division II football.
