Jacey Davison scored 26 points to lead Sudan to a 56-44 win over Thorndale in the Class 1A Division I state semifinals.

Sudan (34-4) took a 31-30 lead at the end of the third quarter on a 3-pointer by Desiree King, then opened the fourth with a 9-0 run. King hit another 3-pointer and Davison capped the run with a steal and a layup that pushed Sudan's lead to 40-30.

Kayla Lindemann and Kayla Caffey each scored 10 points to lead Thorndale (31-4).
