26-4A has lost a team, with the Johnston Rams going away. The six other AISD teams have something to prove.

LBJ has Johnston's old coach, Demo Odems, and hope to continue their recent success with players like Omahsa Brantley. McCallum coach Pat Honeycutt always has title-contending team, and is loaded on defense in 2008.

Travis just missed the playoffs last year but have QB Drew McGarrahan and some other firepower back. CRockett and Reagan and Lanier had tough times in 2007, but hope to turn the corner in 2008.

San Marcos moves down to 4A and will deal with teams from the San Antonio area (Kerrville, Schertz Steele, Seguin, Alamo Heights, NB Canyon, etc). The Rattlers lost lots of seniors but still have plenty to work with.
