24-3A is a district that's spread out around the Austin and Bryan areas. Navasota may be the team to beat, along with Madisonville. Taylor is the biggest team in the district, but faces plenty of challenges.

Cameron Yoe was a playoff team in 2007, and returns 14 starters. Rockdale made the playoffs in 2007, but face challenges in 2008.

25-3A has a core of Giddings, LaGrange, Smithville, and Bellville. Now they welcome state power, Sealy. The Tigers and Columbus take the place of Navasota and Caldwell in this district. This district may be a battle for third, after Sealy and Giddings.

Other 3A teams, like Luling in 27-3A, and Gonzales in 28-3A, are playoff contenders.
