Lexington moves into a new distict in 2A. And they could mix things up a little bit. 25-2A had six teams still in the playoff hunt the last week of 2007. Jarrell and Lago Vista were both playoff teams in 2007, but Salado and Lexington are the favorites this year.

Florence hopes to contend with quarterback Blake Brimer, and Jarrell has QB Chris Trevino leading the way.

Welcome back Blanco. After two years in Region I, the Panthers are in 27-2A now, along with Johnson City, who moves back up from 1A. Blanco was 11-2 in 2007 and return 13 starters. The Eagles hade the playoffs in 1A and lost some key players.
