3TV Outside of school, Wright is the historian for the YMCA Teen Action Council, the charter member and current Vice President of Mu Alpha Theta, a national math club. As part of the National Honor Society he has logged over 100 hours of community service. He has been a member of the Boy Scouts of America since the age of five. Wright loves playing soccer because it allows you to show individual skill, but also is a team sport. His grandmother, who he calls ‘Oma’, has had a major influence on his determination as a student, athlete and individual. When Wright grows up he wants to have a career in physical therapy. “I would love to help kids like my instructor helped me,” he said. “It excited me most to know I will hopefully have the same opportunities of helping kids with their sports and conditioning.” In the fall Wright hopes to either attend Northern Arizona University, University of Colorado, University of Southern California or Stanford University. |
