VERNON BRYANT/DMN Greg Douglas That afternoon, the Plano West senior played a triple-overtime game for his travel team. But after scoring the winning goal to give the Alliance Bulldogs 18-under midget major prep team the Tier II state championship, Douglas didn't call it a day. Instead, he returned to the ice that night and played for Plano West against Jesuit in a key game in the AT&T Metroplex High School Hockey League. Douglas didn't get much time to rest in April either, as he played 11 games in 19 days. Douglas played four games in eight days – scoring a goal in all four games – to help Plano West win the championship in the AT&T league's Gold Division city playoffs. After a two-day break, Douglas had two goals and two assists while playing games three consecutive days to help Plano West finish fifth at the state tournament. Finally, Douglas had two goals and one assist while playing four games in four days in front of scouts from college and junior teams at the Chicago Showcase on April 16-19. "I've gotten used to it," Douglas said. "Playing on two teams, I'm practicing or playing games six days a week. I'm glad our season kept going." Douglas led the AT&T league's Gold Division in goals, scoring 27 in 25 games through the city playoffs. Despite his busy schedule, Douglas finished the season strong. He scored at least one goal in 10 of his last 11 games for Plano West.
PLANO WEST, SR., FORWARD Notable: Douglas led the Gold Division in goals (27), was second in points (39) and tied for 20th in assists (12) through the city playoffs. He added two goals and two assists in three games at the state tournament. ... He helped Plano West win the AT&T Metroplex High School Hockey League's Gold Division city championship and finish fifth at the state tournament. ... He had at least one point in 25 of his 28 games. Did you know? If Douglas doesn't play junior hockey next year, he is considering attending LSU or Missouri and playing hockey for the school's club team.

JESUIT, FR., GOALIE Notable: He was 8-1 with a 1.87 goals-against average and .917 save percentage through the city playoffs, then went 3-0 with a 1.67 GAA and .925 save percentage in the state tournament. He made 30 saves in a 2-1 win over Plano in the state final. Did you know? Nichols helped the Texas Attack travel team reach the semifinals at nationals.
Mark Campbell
JESUIT Notable: He led Jesuit (22-5-2) to the Gold Division regular-season title, a runner-up finish in the AT&T Metroplex High School Hockey League's city playoffs and then to a state title. Did you know? Campbell played golf and baseball at Oklahoma Panhandle State. He also played Junior A hockey in Canada.
Michael Crow
HIGHLAND PARK, SR., FORWARD Notable: He led the Gold Division in points (45) and assists (23) and was second in goals (22) through the city playoffs. Did you know? Crow plans to attend the University of Miami and play roller hockey for the school's club team. He plans to major in business.
Jake Newton
FLOWER MOUND, SO., FORWARD Notable: Newton ranked third in the Gold Division in goals (21) and was tied for third in points (37) through the city playoffs. He added two goals and one assist in the state tournament, helping Flower Mound finish third. Did you know? Newton played on Flower Mound's tennis team.
Hasheen Lad
PLANO WEST, SR., FORWARD Notable: He ranked seventh in the Gold Division with 32 points (14 goals, 18 assists), then added three goals and two assists at state. He helped Plano West win the city title and finish fifth at state. Did you know? Lad plans to play junior hockey for Colorado State's club team next year.
Chris Schnurr
JESUIT, SR., DEFENSEMAN Notable: Schnurr tied for second on the team in goals (nine) and points (17) through the city playoffs. Paced by Schnurr's defense, Jesuit allowed one goal or less in eight of its last 14 games and won the state title. Did you know? Schnurr plans to attend Oklahoma and try to play hockey for the school's club team.
Nate Milburn
PLANO, SR., DEFENSEMAN Notable: Milburn tied for ninth in the Gold Division in assists (16) through the city playoffs and scored five goals. He helped Plano finish second at the state tournament. Plano posted six shutouts – two at state. Did you know? Milburn plans to attend UT-Dallas and be a pre-med major.

PLANO, SR., GOALIE Notable: He tied for first in save percentage (.933) and for second in wins (12) in the Gold Division through the city playoffs. Then he led the state tournament with a 0.67 goals-against average, a .966 save percentage and two shutouts as Plano finished second. Did you know? He plans to major in computer science in college.
