ATHLETE OF THE YEAR: ASHLEY STARKS
LANCASTER, JR. Ashley Starks accomplished more as an underclassman than most track and field athletes do in their high school careers. But Starks is not one to settle. She finished second at state last year in the Class 4A 300-meter hurdles. That, she said, "made me want to come out and train harder to win." And this season, all Starks did was win.
