She had 15 points, three rebounds and two steals in a 46-41 loss at South Grand Prairie. The Irving game marked the sixth time this season that Sims topped 30 points. She had 32 on Dec. 7 vs. Everman; 35 vs. Fossil Ridge on Dec. 1; 31 vs. Plano West on Nov. 27; 32 vs. A. Maceo Smith on Nov. 20; and 34 vs. Justin Northwest on Nov. 6. The stats: Sims averages 23.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 4.7 steals per game. Who is she? A 5-8 sophomore guard, she has orally committed to play for Baylor beginning in 2010. She said it: On her high-scoring games: "Sometimes at the beginning I do count, and then I stop counting. At the end I know if I had 20 points or 30 points because of how good I played. I just know." Coach said it: "She just creates so much havoc, just her anticipation and the ability to be able to anticipate. ... The greatest thing I love about Odyssey is that she hates to lose.
