Against Lewisville, he scored 35 points and went 15-of-15 from the free throw line. The stats: Anderson averaged 29.5 points and 3.5 assists and was 21-for-21 from the free throw line. Anderson has led Hebron to five straight 6-5A wins after the team's 0-4 start in district play. Who is he? Anderson, 17, is a 6-4, 185-pound combo guard He said it: "I'm just trying to get [my teammates] more involved. In the beginning, it was like they were relying only on me. Now I'm getting them more involved, and we're playing better." Coach said it: "He's really stepping up and has been really consistent the whole season. He's been a leader down the stretch. He's lived in Carrollton since his freshman year. ... His mother, Carolyn, and father, Romy, both played basketball at Division II Washburn (Kan.) University in the 1980s. ... Anderson wears the No. 15 jersey to remind him of his sophomore season. "I was the youngest person on the varsity, so I got to choose last. It was either 15 or 53," he said.
