The stats: She averaged 28 points, 5.5 rebounds, five assists and three steals and made 10 of 11 free throws in the two games. Who is she? The 5-4 point guard is a four-year starter. She said it: "I think I was in a zone. It seemed like every time I got the ball I made something happen by getting my teammates involved, scoring or getting to the free throw line." Coach said it: "I think she's one of the best guards in the area. She's a smart player. She fills the leadership role, can take over a game or get her teammates involved. She's very skilled." – Beverly Lockett Did you know? Jenkins was diagnosed with cancer (Hodgkin's disease) late in her freshman year. She has been cancer-free for two years and in remission for the last 2 ½ months. She was recently granted her wish by The Make-A-Wish Foundation to attend the NBA All-Star weekend in New Orleans on Feb. 14-17 and is hoping the Mavs' Josh Howard will play in the game. ...
