He also helped SOC clinch its fourth consecutive state-tournament appearance Saturday. The stats: Morgan averaged 17 points, 11 rebounds and 4.3 blocks in three games last week. He had 15 points, 14 rebounds and four blocks and made 7 of 8 from the free throw line in Saturday's regional final against Highland Park. Who is he? Morgan, 18, is a 6-11, 254-pound center. Morgan has signed with LSU. He said it: "I tell myself that I have to win another state championship and get all-state again. But I know that we just have to take it step by step, level by level." Coach said it: "Bobo is a shot-blocker and one of the best defenders I've seen or coached. I think that's what sets him apart the most. Morgan's nickname came from his older brother, former SOC standout Ronnie Morgan Jr. J'mison's family said he had hair like Bozo the Clown as a baby, but Ronnie couldn't say Bozo, only Bobo. ... Morgan first dunked in the seventh grade. "I'd tried it in practice, so I thought I'd try it in the game. It went in, and everybody stormed the court," he said.
