Bradie Baker

What she did: Bradie Baker pitched a perfect game against Terrell and also pitched shutouts against Highland Park and West Mesquite. In the three games, Baker allowed only four hits and struck out 29 in 15 innings. At the plate, she went 9-for-12 with a double, a triple, a home run and five RBIs to help Poteet (20-3, 4-0 District 10-4A) extend its winning streak to 12 games.

The stats: Baker is 16-2 with a 1.01 ERA and 144 strikeouts in 97 innings. She is hitting .492 with eight doubles, two triples, one home run and 20 RBIs for the state's seventh-ranked 4A team.

Who is she? Baker is a junior pitcher. She was the District 10-4A pitcher of the year last season.
