Learmonth also marked Hebron's top scorer, Kelsey Blincow. The stats: Carroll (22-4-4) has 23 shutouts and has allowed 10 goals. Who is she? A junior, Learmonth is a second-year starter who began the season as a defensive midfielder but moved to marking back in the playoffs. She said it: "Coach [Matt] Colvin told me that he wanted me to mark some of the best players. I've always been defensive-minded. Marking [Blincow] made me play a lot harder because she's a great player." Coach said it: "She wants to mark up with the best players. Whenever I go over the scouting report with her and tell her who she is going to mark, her eyes get big, and she gets excited. She doesn't get scared." – Colvin Did you know?
