Her latest victory was Saturday at Lewisville's Rick Neill Memorial meet, where she posted a time of 11:23. On Oct. 6, Krueger won the 5K girls race at the McNeill Invitational in Round Rock – site of the 2007 UIL state championships. Who she is: A senior at Argyle. She said it: On her racing style: "I start out really conservative, and I gradually make my way to the front. I'm not in a hurry. I know it's a long race. I try to keep pulling away and try to run even." Did you know? Krueger placed sixth at state as a junior cross country runner, but started her ascent the next spring as she won 3A state track titles in the 1,600 and 3,200 meters. ... Krueger has taken visits to Texas A&M, Texas and Alabama and will visit Georgia and Louisville. ... Red Hot Chili Peppers is her favorite band, but when she's running she listens to techno and rap music. ... Member of the National Honor Society. ...
