In the second half, we went to the left side of our line, where the seniors are, and they just dug in. They have a lot of heart." Coach said it: "His effort was really unbelievable. Johnson has been playing with a cast on his left hand since the third week of the season. He was supposed to have the cast removed before the Plano East game but doctors found another fracture and gave him an even bigger cast. Johnson has also been wearing a protective boot since injuring an ankle two weeks ago. ... Johnson played youth league football with several Plano East players. He said he had a bet on the game with his girlfriend, who also attends Plano East. ... Johnson is the younger brother of former Berkner quarterback Justin Johnson, who's now at Houston. ...
