He intercepted the pass and returned it 24 yards for a touchdown to seal South Oak Cliff's 12-5 win over Ennis in the Class 4A Division II playoffs. LeDarius Pendleton The stats: Pendleton was credited with five tackles, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and the interception return for a touchdown. Who he is: A 5-10, 190 pound senior outside linebacker. He said it: "I was just reading the quarterback's eyes. I saw where the ball was going and made the play. They switched quarterbacks on the play, and I knew they would try to get the ball to their star [McDade]." Coach said it: "He's a very physical football player and very disciplined. In our scheme, a lot of what we ask him to do involves taking on blockers. It doesn't always allow him to make a bunch of tackles, but it's a very important role."
