Smith is No. 22 on Rivals.com's Texas 100. ■ Briefly: North Garland defensive back C.J. Cox, No. 64 in SportsDay's Area Top 100, said he has orally committed to UNLV. ... Jesuit athlete Kyle Miller (6-0, 185) and defensive end Marcus Chitman (6-3, 220) committed to Georgetown. Miller will play strong safety in college. Weatherford defensive end Kapron Lewis-Moore (6-4, 225), No. 33 on Rivals.com's Texas 100, recommitted to Texas A&M after backing out of his pledge a few days ago. ... Junior college All-American linebacker J.R. Bryant (6-3, 230) of Garden City (Kan.) Community College committed to Oklahoma, picking the Sooners over Texas Tech. |
