Turner. The stats: Pille is 21-9 with a 1.06 ERA and 330 strikeouts in 158 innings. Pille helped Royse City finish third in District 10-4A and qualify for the playoffs. Who is she? A sophomore pitcher. She was named the District 10-3A newcomer of the year last season. She said it: "I got a new pitching coach, and I've been working hard with him. I've been mixing it up and working with a lot of off-speed" pitches. Coach said it: "Last year when we were in 3A, she started every game and was one of the top pitchers in the state as a freshman in 3A. She led us all the way to the regional semifinals.
