The senior won the triple jump at the Penn Relays with a school-record leap of 54-3 ¾ . It was the third-best mark in Mountain West Conference history and is tied for first in NCAA Division I this season. Jackson also won the long jump (24-2 ½ ) at the Penn Relays and was named College Athlete of the Meet. He placed third in the triple jump (52-9 ½ ) at the 2007 NCAA Outdoor Championships.
