Landon Anderson was 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBIs, and Stephen Phillips was 2-for-4 with two triples and three RBIs as Grapevine Faith Christian's baseball team beat Waco Reicher, 13-5, on Thursday in a TAPPS 4A state semifinal in Waco.

Grapevine Faith (21-10) advanced to play defending state champ Lubbock Christian in the title game at 1 p.m. today at Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton. Grapevine Faith beat Lubbock Christian twice in TAPPS 1-4A.

Frisco Legacy Christian 5, Lake Jackson Brazosport 1: Mason Leavitt pitched a one-hitter and struck out 17, and Casey Mauch homered as Frisco Legacy advanced to the 2A state final. Frisco Legacy (17-7-1) will play Shiner St. Paul at 10 a.m. today at Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton.

Houston St. Thomas 9, TCA-Addison 1: St. Thomas pounded out 14 hits and won a 6A semifinal. St. Thomas scored four runs in the second and three in the sixth.
