TOP STORIESReferee's condition good after heart attack11:42 PM CDT on Tuesday, October 2, 2007A high school football referee who suffered a heart attack during a game last week is in good condition in the intensive care unit at Baylor Medical Center in Garland, according to Baylor officials. Russ Hendricks, 48, was working as the umpire in Friday's Sachse-Garland Naaman Forest game when he had the heart attack. The game was stopped for several minutes, and he was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Baylor officials anticipate moving Hendricks out of intensive care as soon as today. Greg Tepper |
