Hebron QB Tanner Marsh, who leads area 5A passers with 2,290 yards, will face the area's fourth-ranked 5A defense. Marcus will make it tough on Marsh, but Hebron will clinch its second consecutive 6-5A title.

2.   Arlington Martin at Cedar Hill

Defending Class 5A Division II state champion Cedar Hill is fighting for its playoff life. Martin is coming off its first loss. Cedar Hill QB James Hamilton and Martin RB Jeremi Mathis will star in a classic shootout.

3.   Plano vs. Plano East

Plano East's losing streak will continue, putting the Panthers in serious danger of missing the playoffs after a 6-0 start. Plano has lost nine of the last 10 meetings between the rivals. It'll be two of three for Plano after this weekend.

4.   Gar. Naaman Forest at Rockwall

Rockwall needs a win to have a realistic shot in the District 10-5A playoff race. I simply can't believe that a team that scared the daylights out of Allen and Southlake Carroll could be playoff spectators. Expect QB Braden Smith to respond to the challenge.

5.   South Oak Cliff vs. Kimball

SOC's offense is really rolling, scoring 164 points in blowout wins the last three weeks. SOC will run into a wall called the Kimball defense, which ranks No. 1 among area 4A teams (192.0 yards per game). Kimball just doesn't lose district games.
