TOP STORIES2-minute drill with Frisco Centennial's Ryan Mossakowski06:46 PM CST on Thursday, November 8, 2007
Ryan Mossakowski
QB, Frisco Centennial You lead the area's 4A passers with 2,526 yards as a junior. How have you improved in your second year as a full-time starter? I've kind of gotten more accustomed to the offense a little bit. Our linemen have stepped up, the receivers have stepped up. It's really not on me, just the whole team. I'm seeing the big picture, how everything comes together. Last year, it was brand new and I kind of just knew the basics. How long have you lived in Frisco? Since my first-grade year. That makes you practically a native. How much has Frisco changed since you moved there? Man, there's four high schools now. There was just Frisco High back then. I remember when I was going to be a Raccoon. I knew the fight song and everything. Has it scarred you, not getting to be a Raccoon? I think I'll be all right being a Titan. What's your favorite addition to the Frisco sports skyline? Pizza Hut Park? Dr Pepper StarCenter? I'm probably going to go with the RoughRiders' stadium because I entered in a contest and me and a couple of hundred kids got free tickets to the first RoughRiders game ever. One kid won the grand prize. It wasn't me. Again, were you scarred by the experience? No sir, I think it was just a neat opportunity to be at the first actual game. Are you tired of having to spell your last name to people? No, I kind of like being unique. You don't hear a name like that around here every day. How tall are you? I'm 6-4 ½ . Maybe a little bit taller. Being a vertically challenged Titan just wouldn't sound right, would it? It would be difficult. A little more difficult at the position I'm playing. |
