1.   Highland Park vs. West Mesquite

Highland Park rolled to a 38-20 win when these teams met for the District 10-4A title. There's no reason to think that Highland Park's potent offense won't put up at least that many points again.

2.   Abilene vs. Hebron

If Abilene spent the week celebrating its upset over Southlake Carroll, Hebron will be playing again next week. But that's doubtful, considering Abilene's tradition and coaching.

3.   Arlington Bowie vs. Euless Trinity

This is a classic matchup of smash-mouth vs. spread, size vs. speed. Bowie needs to force Trinity to play catch-up. Trinity's Hawgs will wear Bowie down if they can play their preferred style.

4.   Skyline vs. Plano

Plano has the best offense Skyline's dominant defense has seen. Don't expect huge numbers from RB Rex Burkhead, but he'll run well enough to help Plano win.

5.   Wichita Falls Rider vs. Everman

The winner becomes the Class 4A Division II favorite. Everman, with an awesome running game, has averaged 46 points per game during the playoffs. Pass-happy Rider has averaged 43.3.
