Windthorst 11, Blue Ridge 1: Cole Hemmi and Josh McCoy drove in three runs each and Abel Vasquez pitched a six-hitter as Windthorst (32-8) beat Blue Ridge (27-6) at Lake Dallas High School to win their best-of-3 Class A Region II final series, 2-1.

Vasquez needed only 77 pitches, striking out six and walking none.

Ponder 7, Brock 6 (13 innings):

Dalton Brown's single scored Jeff Specht with the winning run in the bottom of the 13th inning as Ponder (22-6) outlasted Brock (30-6) at Keller Central High School on Friday night to sweep their best-of-3 3A Region II final series.

Reliever Sam Terrazas picked up the win, pitching three scoreless innings.
