Boys Basketball NewsMaxey hired as Bryan Adams boys basketball coach05:08 PM CDT on Wednesday, June 10, 2009By BRANDON GEORGE / The Dallas Morning Newsbgeorge@dallasnews.com A. Maceo Smith's Tyrone Maxey has resigned to take over as boys basketball coach at Bryan Adams. Maxey, 39, coached A. Maceo Smith for five seasons. Pinkston assistant John Burley will replaced Maxey. Maxey is replacing Jeff Stout, who was relieved of his duties at Bryan Adams in early April after seven seasons. "It's a good opportunity for me," Maxey said. "Bryan Adams is a diamond in the rough. It's low on the radar, but it has a lot of hidden gems over there." |
