Football NewsMcKinney quarterback orally commits to LSU09:12 PM CDT on Sunday, June 14, 2009McKinney senior-to-be quarterback Zach Lee said Sunday night that he has orally committed to LSU, choosing the Tigers over Alabama, Mississippi, Vanderbilt and Arizona. Lee (6-4, 200) is ranked No. 175 on the Rivals.com Top 250 national recruiting list for 2010. He is the state's No. 2 pro-style quarterback recruit, according to Rivals.com, and ranks ninth nationally. Last season, Lee was 182-for-289 passing for 2,935 yards and 33 touchdowns with 10 interceptions in 11 games. Oral commitments are nonbinding. The first day 2010 football recruits can sign letters of intent is Feb. 3. |
