Football NewsRockwall QB Dingwell commits to San Diego State07:33 PM CDT on Thursday, June 25, 2009Rockwall quarterback Adam Dingwell, a senior-to-be, said Thursday that he has orally committed to San Diego State. Dingwell (6-4, 195) said he chose San Diego State after taking part in its football camp last week. Dingwell, who played tight end and free safety as a sophomore, started at quarterback last season for Rockwall and completed 124 of 201 pass attempts for 1,731 yards and 15 touchdowns with six interceptions. He also rushed for 171 yards and three touchdowns on 91 attempts. Oral commitments are nonbinding. The first day 2010 football recruits can sign letters of intent is Feb. 3. Brandon George |
