COPPELL – Coppell jumped out to a huge early lead and coasted to a 55-point rout of R.L. Turner in a District 6-5A game at Buddy Echols Field. Coppell was led by Evans Okotcha's 121 rushing yards and four touchdowns on eight carries. Devin Smith returned two interceptions for touchdowns to lead the defense. R.L. Turner's lone score came in the second quarter on a 6-yard run by Raul Marquez.
