Taylor Black pitched a complete game, and Alex Yarbrough homered as Allen beat South Grand Prairie, 5-1, on Friday to sweep a best-of-3 Class 5A first-round playoff series.

Allen (19-8) was the No. 4 seed from District 8-5A while champion South Grand Prairie was the District 7-5A champion.
