Samuell freshman Onyeoma Okereke turned in a strong third leg at the Class 4A Region II track meet to help the Spartans' 4x200 relay team upset Lancaster in a personal-best time of 1:38.49, which ranks second in the area and fourth in the state this year. Lancaster was second in 1:38.67. Lincoln freshman Taylor Sanders ran a strong anchor leg to lead her 4x400 relay team to a close win over Lancaster in 3:52.21. Lancaster was second in 3:52.30.
