Kelsey Musselman, Parish Episcopal, senior
Update: She was a TAPPS 2-5A all-district setter the last two years. She is among the area leaders in assists per game this season.
Notable: Musselman, who lives in Dallas, is a member of the National Honor Society and editor of the yearbook. She placed second in the TAPPS state math competition last year. She also played varsity softball the last three years.
Memorable moment: Last season's win over Prestonwood that led her team to the district title. "Pretty much everyone in our school was at that game. It was exciting."
Favorite place visited: Her mother's family cabin in Allyn, Wash. (64 miles from Seattle).
Role model: Her grandfather Jack Holl, 70. "He is probably one of the wisest people I've known."
College plans: Musselman has orally committed to play volleyball at Columbia. She plans to study biochemistry.
Thing people don't know about me: She is distantly related to the family in Pennsylvania that founded Musselman's apple sauce.
