South Oak Cliff senior J'mison Morgan confirmed Friday that he will attend UCLA.

Morgan, a 6-11 center, said he expects to sign with UCLA early next week. He also considered Memphis, Cincinnati, Louisville, Baylor and Kansas.

Morgan's decision came after he announced his request for a release from LSU in early May. Morgan signed with LSU in November but said the departure of former coach John Brady and former assistant coach Butch Pierre played a role in him asking for a release. LSU hired former Stanford coach Trent Johnson.
