Michael Gill pitched a three-hit shutout and went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs to help Flower Mound Marcus beat Odessa, 10-0, in six innings Saturday to complete a two-game sweep of a best-of-3 Class 5A Region I semifinal series in Abilene.
Marcus (26-12) will play El Paso Socorro in the regional final. That best-of-3 series will begin Friday in Midland.
Jameson Holt had two RBIs for Marcus, and Tate Baker was 2-for-4 with two runs. Marcus scored seven runs in the fifth.
