Jeff Calvert threw for 267 yards and two touchdowns as Colleyville Heritage (5-2, 3-1 District 5-5A) withstood a strong second-half rally. Heritage scored on Calvert’s 20- yard pass to Kyle Millan and Bailey Crego’s 5-yard run a 14-0 halftime lead.

Bell (3-4, 2-2) took advantage of Kenny Buyers’ 72-yard punt return to move to the Heritage 1-yard line but turned the ball over on downs. Mitchell Dominiec got Bell on the board with a 41-yard touchdown pass to Epeli Fiefia on Bell’s first offensive play of the second half, and closed the gap with a 33-yard Cole Benton field goal.

But Heritage took control for good on Calvert’s 10-yard touchdown pass to Zach Worrell.
