Throughout his baseball career, Stephen Richards has felt he's had a little something extra to prove. He stood 5-10 and weighed 140 pounds coming out of Plano East High School. Taylor Jones threw a five-hitter as Plano East continued its improbable playoff run with a 5-0 win over Flower Mound Marcus in the decisive game of a best-of-3 Class 5A Region I final.
