A 30-point first half was more than enough to propel Allen past Plano West, 37-14, on Friday at Kimbrough Stadium. Quarterback Matt Brown threw three touchdown passes and ran for another score to lead Allen, which is ranked No. 9 in the state and No. 6 in SportsDay's Class 5A area poll.
