Terrell coach Pete Gee said that quarterback Wesley McCoy's low completion rate is not entirely his fault.
"We've got some receivers that are dropping the ball," Gee said. "He threw two touchdown passes against Highland Park, but the receivers dropped them."
McCoy is completing 28 percent of his passes, but Gee said the focus of the passing game will shift.
"He's going to start having a little bit more emphasis on the short passing game, so he can complete some passes and get his confidence up," Gee said.
McCoy is the biggest offensive threat for Terrell (1-3), throwing for 244 yards and two touchdowns. He's run for 468 yards and three scores.
