Boys Soccer NewsPlano West midfielder commits to DenverBy DAVID HINOJOSA / The Dallas Morning Newsdhinojosa@dallasnews.com Plano West midfielder Jarod Stigall said Tuesday he has orally committed to Denver. Stigall (6-1, 175) chose Denver over New Mexico and San Diego State. Stigall had also considered Wake Forest, but began leaning toward Denver when Wake Forest assistant Bobby Muuss was hired as Denver’s head coach in January. Stigall was a member of the SportsDay’s 2007 all-area first team. Oral commitments are nonbinding. The first day a soccer player can sign a national letter of intent is Feb. 6. |
