Rowlett senior Marquise Goodwin, SportsDay's boys track athlete of the year, won the long jump at the IAAF World Junior Championships on Wednesday in Poland, by clearing 25.39 feet.

Goodwin became the third American to win a world junior long jump title and the first since 1992.
