KLEIN- The Klein Oak Panthers ruined homecoming for the Klein Bearkats, beating their district rival Friday at Klein Memorial stadium. Klein Oak quarterback Andy Wilson busted out as our “Athlete of the Week”, running rampant on Klein, rushing for 136 yards and two touchdowns, helping beat Klein 23-17.

Andy Wilson started off the night scoring his first rushing TD from three yards out, but built his way up to a 79 yard TD run that sealed the game for Klein Oak. Wilson had 40 yards passing on 4 completions giving him 176 total yards of offense.

Wilson is a junior at Klein Oak, who has been putting up great numbers so far this season throwing for 266 yards and three touchdowns, while rushing for 241 yards and two TD’s.

Wilson would be the first to tell you that most of the credit goes to the great blocking by their offensive line that boasts two NCAA division I commits.

The Klein Oak O-line takes pride in their job, moving defenders out of the way to allow Andy Wilson and running back Ossam Cook to put up great numbers, fueling their high octane offense.

Klein Oak plays Tomball next week, watch for Wilson to cause problems for the Cougars’ defense.
