Dickinson had little trouble closing out this game. Its defense was tough, but Plainview also missed a lot of open outside shots and more than half its free throws. The Lady Gators will play for the Class 4A state championship against Dallas Lincoln at 3:30 p.m. Saturday. It is their second-straight trip to the state finals.
Audrianna Garcia led Dickinson with 13 points, and Brianna Hypolite dominated the rebounds. I'm not sure how many, but it had to be at least 15.
