Two steals led to two quick layups in the final 35 seconds, lifting Dallas Lincoln to a 50-47 win over Dickinson in a wild finish in the Class 4A girls’ state championship.

A steal by Breanna Johnson led to a baseline layup by Kimetria Hayden that gave Lincoln a 48-47 lead with 23 seconds left. Ten seconds later, another steal by Chynna Brown led to a fastbreak basket by Britney Gowans and Lincoln won its second title in five years.

Hayden finished with 22 points and nine rebounds for Lincoln (29-4).

Marissa Ashton scored 14 to lead Dickinson (35-5), which lost in the final for the second straight year.
