Coach Mike McGilvary of Lamar reached a milestone in his coaching career with an 8-0 win over Westside that gave him his 500^th win. The fact that McGilvary has had career that has allowed him the chance to get 500 games is impressive, but 500 wins is phenomenal.

The program that McGilvary has set in place at Lamar is a well-respected and first class program that produces successful student athletes. This can be seen if you attend a Redskins’ baseball game.
