The Kingwood Mustangs put a hurting on the district rival Wildcats Tuesday night at Humble Stadium, that only lasted five innings. Mustangs’ pitcher Eric Stover was throwing gas off the mound striking out six batters in five innings, on their way to an 11-1 victory over the Wildcats. Stover gave up four hits and only one run in the last inning on a dropped ball by the catcher.

Kingwood started the game strong putting up four quick runs on pitcher Chase Gamble of Humble. In the third inning, David Tiddle launched a two-run homer over centerfield to lengthen the Mustangs’ lead to 7-0.

Kingwood finished the game with 11 runs on12 hits.
